Tucked away on Church Road, a few minutes from the High Street, the Abercorn is a friendly, spacious pub with a traditional feel and a few modern touches. Outside it’s all deep blue paintwork, copper lanterns and hanging baskets. Inside there’s plenty of room to spread out.
The bar keeps a mix of locally brewed beers on cask and keg, plus bottles and cans, and the kitchen serves fresh food every day. It’s the place to watch the big fixtures, with Sky and TNT Sports showing the Premier League and Champions League, rugby and boxing. The beer garden at the back is made for families.
