Jawbone Brewing
Born in a boatyard. A small craft brewery with a riverside taproom, a short hop from Teddington.
Strictly speaking it’s Twickenham, but Swan Island is close enough that we’re claiming it. Jawbone is founder Ben Hughes’s craft brewery, tucked into a sleepy boatyard by the river. Its motto is “born in a boatyard, enjoyed everywhere”.
The taproom, the Beer Dock, pours from seven taps, with cider, wine, G&Ts and soft drinks for anyone who isn’t on the beer. Dogs and families are welcome. Try the Highs & Lows Lemondrop Pils if it’s on, and pick up a few cans from the shop on the way out. The shop also opens Monday to Wednesday, and you can order online.
